Sewing has been a life long passion of mine. Both my grandmothers tought me how to sew handkerchiefs at around 5 years old. Working with them was always fun and inspired me to become a dressmaker later in life.

In the course of my professional life I have created Wardrobes for BIZBash, Costumes for North Canterbury Musical Society, or even worked for the Circus…sewing wings on an Airoplane. A lot of things I am doing are unusual. That is the reason why I love my job. Everyday is different and I never know what is coming through the door.
